Single Tooth

It’s time to look better, feel better, and be confident about your smile again with dental implants, a permanent solution for your missing teeth. This revolutionary system provides natural-looking replacement teeth that won’t come out while you’re talking or eating.

The process of having a dental implant installed to restore the gap left by a missing tooth starts with your initial visit. During your first visit, Dr. Conness will surgically place your implant fixture, the part of the implant that attaches to your jawbone.

The implant fixture works like the root of a natural tooth to keep the implant firmly in place. Once your body has developed a secure bond with the fixture, you’ll return to our office so Dr. Conness can complete the implant process by attaching your attractive porcelain implant crown to the fixture.

Your new prosthetic tooth is custom-made to blend in with your smile.

Multiple Tooth

We can also restore two or more missing teeth with dental implants. In addition to restoring your confidence, dental implants will also dramatically improve your oral health.

If the missing teeth aren’t next to each other, Dr. Conness will use more than one individual dental implant to restore your smile. If the missing teeth are adjacent, he might elect to use a multiple-tooth prosthetic that’s supported by two or more implants.

Implant-Supported Dentures

If you’re looking for more stability and comfort with your existing dentures, Dr. Conness can secure a complete arch of dentures using dental implants. This will restore your peace of mind by eliminating embarrassing denture slippage.

Implant-supported dentures stimulate natural jawbone growth to keep your smile healthy. You have two options with implant-supported dentures — they can either be permanently fixed or removable for easy cleaning. Both options will significantly improve your quality of life.

Get New Teeth in a Day With All-on-X

With All-on-X, Dr. Conness uses dental implants to permanently restore a whole arch of missing teeth.

One major advantage with All-on-X is that you’ll get a new set of attractive temporary teeth in just one office visit. Then you’ll return to our office at a later date so Dr. Conness can place your permanent prosthetic.

All-on-X gives you a beautiful smile that you’ll feel confident about flashing in public. It’s healthy for your smile, easy to care for, and you can go back to eating all your favorite foods again.

Which dental implant solution is best for me?

Each dental implant solution is designed for each unique patient and their smile. Our team will create a custom treatment plan after you’ve had a consultation with Dr. Conness.

Each dental implant solution will vary depending on the patient’s oral health and the number of missing teeth. No matter what, Dr. Conness will ensure your treatment option meets the needs of your smile so you can live with confidence again.

Can I get same day dental implants?

Here at John Conness, DDS, we offer same-day dental implant placement for those who qualify. Teeth in a day, also known as All-on-X dental implants, is one of the many services offered by our Ottawa dentist.

Teeth in a day is a procedure that allows for the placement of multiple dental implants and implant-supported provisional restoration on the same day. However, the recovery period varies according to the patient.
