John M. Conness

Dr. Conness is a licensed Illinois general dentist who has been performing implant and surgical procedures for over 30 years. Dr. Conness and his staff are committed to offering every patient the very best dental care currently available to the dental profession.

Our goal is to tailor treatment to meet the patient’s individual desires, goals, and expectations. Dr. Conness has presented many educational programs in the areas of implant surgical dentistry and implant restorative dentistry.

In order provide the best treatment, Dr. Conness has dedicated himself to continuing his education and as of now, has completed thousands of hours to that purpose.

Education

Dr. Conness received his undergraduate degree in biology from Benedictine University in 1979, where he was a member of the Blue Key National Honor Society. He graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1983. While attending Loyola he received the Award of Merit from the American College of Dentists as one of the outstanding senior students. Pursuing his philosophy of advanced dental education, Dr. Conness received his Fellowship Certificate from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1992. In September of 2006, Dr. Conness received his advanced Implant Dentistry Certificate from Temple University and the Misch Resnik International Implant Institute.

Upon graduation, Dr. Conness was the inaugural recipient of the Resnik Implant Institute’s Mastership Award. In November of 2006, Dr. Conness was made a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologist (ICOI). The ICOI is the world’s largest educational implant organization in the world. Dr. Conness was awarded the ICOI’s Diplomate status in February 2012. Less than one percent of the practicing dentists have been awarded this academic & clinical certificate in the field of implant dentistry. In addition to these certificates, he has maintained his commitment to patient care through ongoing continuing education. Dr. Conness has completed thousands of hours of continuing education.

Personal Information: Wife: Mary Lu, Three Adult Children: John Jr., Patrick, Mary Kathleen, Hobbies: golf, running, spending time with his family.

In 2006 Dr. Conness was added to America’s Registry of Outstanding Professionals and in 2005 the Consumers Research Council named Dr. Conness as one of the top dentists in America.
